We decided to repeat our recent stay at the Bookings condo - but this time with good friends, Ross and Taffy. (For pictures of our last Brookings gambit, press Archive below). We were lucky to have almost perfect weather for that part of the coast. Hiking, good food and conversation - just the best!
Ross and Taffy are always up for a long walk - or even a marathon hike. The beach gave us miles of perfect walking, and the Boardman Corridor, all the hiking trails we could want.
Oregon beaches are not great for swimming unless fully clothed in a thick wetsuit but they are amazing for long, leisurely walks with plenty of time for exploring tide pools.
We ate like kings - and enjoyed our 5pm happy hour!
